The safety and dignity of every young person who engages with our programmes is non-negotiable.

The Gabriel Ezenri Foundation is committed to the safety and dignity of every young person who engages with our programmes. We maintain a safeguarding and child-protection policy governing all staff, volunteers, mentors, and partners, and we require adherence to it as a condition of involvement.

Our safeguarding framework covers:

  • ● Safe recruitment and vetting of staff, volunteers, and mentors
  • ● Clear codes of conduct for all adults working with scholars
  • ● Training on recognising and responding to safeguarding concerns
  • ● Robust reporting procedures with confidential escalation routes
  • ● Partnership agreements requiring safeguarding compliance
